looking back at plusfour's history...

1970

  • Plus Four Analysis Ltd established by current Managing Director, Peter Allan and three others, hence the name ‘Plus Four’!

  • Operated out of a flat in West Norwood well…it had to start somewhere!!

1985

  • Launched the UK’s first suburban viewing facilities: ‘The Qualitative Lab’.

  • Launched the first viewing facility in the North; ‘The Qualitative Lab’ in Greater Manchester (sadly closed many decades later)

  • Company name changes to Plus Four Market Research Ltd

1998​

  • ‘The Field Division’ grew to 25 regional supervisors and more than 700 interviewers nationwide

  • Re-located to a new Head Office, still within Wimbledon.

2004

  • 'The Qualitative Lab’ in the South moved alongside Head Office, meaning Plus Four is now conveniently operating from the same site.

1971

  • Moved to 3 small offices over a shop in Morden.

  • 5 permanent staff supported by home transcribers, coders and punch operators and a few field interviewers

1978

  • Plus Four moves from Morden to Wimbledon.

  • 15 permanent staff
